Swap & Bridge Stacks
Swap Stacks (STX) on xswap.to with no account and no KYC, at a live price of about $0.1587. STX trades against 809 pairs here: pick one, send your coins to a one-time deposit address, and the swap pays out straight to your wallet. Rates are floating, and you see an estimate before you send.
About Stacks (STX)
Stacks (STX) is the native coin of Stacks, a Bitcoin layer that brings smart contracts written in the Clarity language to Bitcoin. Its consensus, Proof of Transfer, has miners spend BTC to produce Stacks blocks, and STX holders can lock coins in Stacking to earn BTC. On xswap.to you can exchange STX for another coin or get STX in return, with no account, and the coins land at the address you choose.
STX is listed on its own network only, the Stacks mainnet. It is not a token on Bitcoin or Ethereum, so a Bitcoin address or a 0x address will not receive it. Mainnet Stacks addresses usually start with SP. This listing uses a memo field: when your STX payout goes to an exchange that gave you a memo, enter it with the address. For deposits, include the memo if the order page shows one. Fees on Stacks are paid in STX.
Once you pick the other coin and enter the amount, you see a floating-rate estimate for the STX swap, with the margin and payout network fee already deducted. Timing depends on how quickly the deposit confirms on the sending chain and on Stacks block production when STX is the payout. Prices can move slightly before your deposit is credited, so the final amount may differ a little. The order page shows the status and transaction ID.
STX networks on xswap.to
Each network is a separate option in the coin selector. Send and receive only on the network you pick, and use a memo or tag where one is required.
| Listing | Network | Type | Memo / tag |

Before you send
- Use a Stacks mainnet address, usually starting with SP, for STX payouts, never a Bitcoin or 0x address.
- Enter the memo your exchange assigned when the STX payout goes to an exchange deposit account.
- When the order page shows a memo beside the STX deposit address, type it into your wallet's memo field before signing.
- Hold back a little STX beyond the swap amount, since the Stacks network charges its transaction fee in STX.
- Check that your STX is out of any Stacking lock before you create the order, since locked coins cannot move.
STX Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a memo to receive STX?
Only when the destination requires one. Exchanges often use a memo to match incoming STX to your account, so copy theirs into the memo field in the widget. A personal Stacks wallet you control usually has no memo, and the address alone identifies it.
Is STX a token on the Bitcoin network?
It is not: STX is the native coin of the Stacks blockchain, which settles to Bitcoin but keeps its own ledger. A Bitcoin address cannot receive STX, and an STX deposit address cannot accept BTC.
What does a Stacks address look like?
Mainnet Stacks addresses usually start with SP and use an encoding called c32check. Wallets such as Leather and Xverse show them on the receive screen. Copy the full string and compare the first and last characters after pasting.
Can I swap STX that is currently Stacking?
Not until the Stacking lock ends. Locked STX stays in your wallet but cannot be transferred until the cycles you committed to are over. xswap.to does not offer Stacking itself, so this only concerns coins you locked through your own wallet or a pool.
What decides how long an STX swap takes?
Two things: how quickly your deposit confirms on the chain you send from, and how fast the payout chain processes the outgoing transfer. When STX is the payout, Stacks block production sets the pace. The order page shows which stage your swap is in.
Who do I contact if I forgot the memo on an STX transfer?
Message support on Telegram at @xswap_to with the transaction ID and the order details. Transfers on Stacks are final, so support reviews the case and cannot promise a particular outcome. Checking the memo field before sending avoids the problem.
