About Zcash (ZEC)
Zcash (ZEC) is a proof-of-work coin that lets users shield transactions with zero-knowledge proofs called zk-SNARKs, hiding sender, receiver and amount, while also supporting transparent transfers that work much like Bitcoin. That listing is a BEP-20 token pegged to ZEC, issued on BNB Smart Chain rather than the Zcash chain. It uses a 0x address, pays gas in BNB and cannot be sent to a native Zcash address. Choose it only if your ZEC is held as that token.
