Stellar lumens (XLM) arrive at your own Stellar address after you send native AVAX from the Avalanche X-Chain to a one-time deposit address. Nothing has to be registered first. People convert AVAX to XLM because lumens cost very little to move and settle within seconds, which suits sending money abroad, funding a Stellar wallet that holds anchored assets, or topping up an exchange account that lists XLM.
Stellar reaches agreement with the Stellar Consensus Protocol rather than mining, and a new ledger closes about every 5 seconds. Accounts are public keys that start with G and run 56 characters. A brand-new account only exists once it receives the minimum balance set by the base reserve. On the sending side, AVAX moves on the X-Chain (X-avax1 addresses), not the C-Chain. The networks are unrelated, so the AVAX to XLM exchange is a cross-chain swap.

Fill it in when the destination is an exchange or another service that shares one Stellar address among many users. In that case the memo tells them whose account to credit. A personal wallet such as LOBSTR or a hardware wallet does not need one.
It will, as long as the payout covers the network's minimum balance, which is what creates a new Stellar account. That reserve is small, so it mostly matters for tiny test amounts. After activation, part of your balance stays reserved while the account exists.
The default Avalanche listing here is native AVAX on the X-Chain, so the deposit address it creates is an X-Chain one. If your coins are on the C-Chain, choose Avalanche (C-Chain) in the selector instead. Mixing them up can mean a deposit the order never sees.

You can, since the order only asks for an amount, your Stellar address and a memo when the address needs one. You then send AVAX to the deposit address it gives you.
