TRX is what TRON burns or stakes for bandwidth and energy, so you need it to send TRC-20 tokens like USDT on TRON. Without TRX or staked resources, a TRC-20 transfer from your wallet cannot pay for its energy. Converting some BSV gives you a TRX balance for that.
