It will not. TRX is paid out on the TRON network, so you need a TRON address beginning with T. Multichain wallets show a separate address for each chain, so copy the one listed under TRON rather than the Ethereum one.
Every transaction on TRON uses bandwidth, and token transfers also use energy. If your account has not staked TRX for these resources, the network burns TRX from your balance to pay for them. A wallet with TRC-20 USDT and zero TRX usually cannot move the stablecoin.
One does: a TRON token issued as BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain sits in the coin selector as a separate entry. That version uses 0x addresses. This page pays native TRX on TRON, which is what TRON wallets and TRC-20 fees require.
