Most BCH wallets show a CashAddr address that starts with bitcoincash:q, or with q alone when the prefix is dropped. Some also accept legacy addresses beginning with 1, which look identical to old Bitcoin addresses. Use the CashAddr format so you do not mix up a BCH wallet with a BTC wallet.
It is not. Bitcoin Cash is a separate chain that forked from Bitcoin in 2017, with its own coin, addresses and wallets. A payout sent to a BTC-only wallet address may not be recoverable, so copy the address from a wallet that supports BCH.
