How to Bridge & Swap Cardano for Litecoin

Swap ADA to LTC in three steps without creating an account. You see an estimated amount before you send, the exchange runs automatically once your deposit confirms, and the LTC goes straight to the wallet address you enter.

Configure Your Swap

Enter the amount of Cardano you want to swap in the widget above. It shows an estimate of the Litecoin you will receive on the Litecoin network at the current floating rate, with the payout network fee already taken into account.

2

Provide Destination

Paste your LTC wallet address and check it twice, because blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. If the coin needs a memo or destination tag, a field for it appears. xswap.to never asks for your private keys.

Send & Automate

Confirm the order and send your ADA to the one-time deposit address on the Cardano network. Once the deposit confirms, the swap runs automatically and the LTC is sent to your wallet. The order page shows every stage.

Why Swap and Bridge ADA to LTC Here?

Swapping Cardano (ADA) for Litecoin (LTC) here takes one transfer from your wallet: no exchange account, no balance to deposit and no withdrawal queue. You choose the receiving address, and the LTC goes there once the swap completes.

Rates are floating, so the amount shown is an estimate that can shift slightly while your Cardano deposit confirms on Cardano. The payout is sent on Litecoin, so check that your Litecoin address belongs to that network before you confirm.

How much is Cardano (ADA) converted to Litecoin (LTC)?

At the latest hourly update, 1 ADA converts to about 0.0007389 LTC. The figure comes from the floating rate and already allows for the payout network fee. Rates move, so the widget recalculates the estimate when you enter your own amount, and no account or registration is needed to swap.

About Swapping Cardano to Litecoin

You send Cardano (ADA) from a Cardano wallet and receive Litecoin (LTC) on the Litecoin blockchain at an address you control, with no account or email involved. Paying someone is a common reason to swap ADA to LTC: a merchant checkout, an invoice or a crypto card top-up may take Litecoin but not Cardano, so part of a Cardano balance gets moved into LTC first.

Cardano is a proof-of-stake chain secured by the Ouroboros protocol, and ADA is its native coin. Litecoin is a proof-of-work chain that uses the Scrypt algorithm and targets one block every 2.5 minutes. Because the two run on separate blockchains, this is a cross-chain swap, and you receive native LTC rather than a wrapped token. Your payout needs a Litecoin address, usually starting with ltc1, L or M, and neither side uses a memo or tag.

Before you send anything, the widget quotes a floating-rate estimate for the ADA to LTC exchange, and the Litecoin network fee for your payout is already subtracted from it. Should the market move while your ADA deposit is confirming, the final LTC amount can shift slightly. Once the payout is broadcast, your wallet may show it as unconfirmed until the next Litecoin block is mined. The order page shows each stage, from waiting for deposit to finished, along with a transaction ID.

Before you send

  • Send native ADA on the Cardano network, not the BEP-20 version of ADA on BNB Smart Chain, which is a separate listing.
  • Use a regular Litecoin address starting with ltc1, L or M rather than a private MWEB address beginning with ltcmweb1.
  • When withdrawing ADA from an exchange, choose Cardano as the withdrawal network and allow for the exchange's fee so the arriving amount still meets the minimum.
  • Leave some ADA beyond the swap amount in your wallet to cover the Cardano transaction fee, which your wallet adds when you send.

ADA to LTC Frequently Asked Questions

Which Litecoin address formats can receive the LTC payout?

A standard Litecoin address works, which usually begins with ltc1 (native SegWit), L (legacy) or M (script hash). Take it from your own Litecoin wallet or from the LTC deposit page of an exchange account. Avoid MWEB addresses starting with ltcmweb1, and never paste a Bitcoin or Cardano address into the receiving field.

Can I send ADA from a staking wallet without undelegating?

You can, because delegated ADA on Cardano is never locked, so a wallet that stakes to a pool can still send it at any time. Delegation does not freeze your balance. Unclaimed rewards stay in your reward account unless your wallet withdraws them as part of the transaction, and only the amount that reaches the deposit address is swapped.

Why did I get slightly less LTC than the estimate showed?

Rates here float, so the quote keeps moving with the market until your ADA deposit confirms and the exchange runs. The estimate also already has the Litecoin network fee for the payout taken out. A small gap between quoted and received LTC almost always comes from price movement during confirmation.

How long does it take to convert ADA to LTC?

It depends on how quickly your ADA deposit confirms on Cardano and how fast the LTC payout gets into a Litecoin block. Cardano adds a block about every 20 seconds on average, while Litecoin targets 2.5 minutes per block, so congestion on either chain adds time. The order page tells you which stage the swap is in.

Do I have to create an account or verify my identity?

No account, email or signup is needed, and xswap.to does not ask for ID. In rare cases a partner's automated anti-money-laundering check can pause a flagged transaction and ask for verification. Most swaps go through without that step.

What should I do if my LTC has not arrived?

Start with the order page, which you can find again on the Track Order page, and check its status and transaction ID. If the status says finished, look up the payout on a Litecoin block explorer. If something looks stuck or wrong, message support on Telegram at @xswap_to with the transaction ID.
