By default the payout is ERC-20 USDC on Ethereum, the token contract ending in eB48. You can switch to another USDC network, such as Solana, Base, Arbitrum One or BNB Smart Chain, in the coin selector before creating the order. The receiving address must belong to the network you pick.
Receiving needs no ETH, because the payout transaction pays its own gas and that cost is already deducted in your estimate. Moving the USDC afterwards is different: every ERC-20 transfer from your wallet costs gas in ETH. Hold a small ETH balance if you plan to send or trade the tokens later.
Circle issues USDC and backs it with cash and short-term US Treasury holdings, aiming for one token to equal one US dollar. Verified customers can redeem it with Circle. Like any stablecoin it carries issuer and market risk, so the peg is a design goal rather than a promise from xswap.to.

The Ethereum gas for sending your payout is a cost per transaction, not a percentage, and it is deducted from the USDC you receive. On a small order that fixed cost takes a bigger share. Choosing a cheaper USDC network, such as Solana or Base, can leave more of the value in your wallet.
