Every quote here is a floating estimate that already includes the payout network fee, so an ERC-20 payout shows a bigger deduction when Ethereum gas is high. You can by choosing Tether (TRC20) in the coin selector before creating the order. Your payout then needs a TRON address starting with T, and both sides of the swap run on TRON. The default on this page is ERC-20 USDT on Ethereum.
Besides the default ERC-20 version on Ethereum, the selector lists USDT on TRON (TRC-20), BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Polygon PoS, Avalanche C-Chain, Arbitrum One, TON, Celo and Aptos. Each one uses its own address format. Pick the network first, then paste an address from that network.
Receiving does not require ETH, since the payout gas comes out of the USDT you get. Sending that USDT onward from an Ethereum wallet does require ETH for gas. If you would rather not hold ETH, the TRC-20 option on TRON swaps that need for TRX, which pays its energy and bandwidth.
Not always: Tether aims to keep USDT at one US dollar and says each token is backed by its reserves. Its market price can still drift slightly from that level during heavy trading. This page gives no investment advice and only covers how the swap works.
