Gram is the new name for Toncoin, adopted on June 15, 2026 after a community vote, with the ticker GRAM. It is the same coin on The Open Network, and existing balances and addresses did not change. This exchange still lists it under the TON ticker.
Only if your receiving address belongs to an exchange or other custodial service. Those services share one address among many users and use the memo, also called a comment, to credit you. A self-custody TON wallet does not need one. Without a required memo, the coins can arrive but not be credited to you.
The selector lists Toncoin as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain. Those are tokens on other chains, paid to 0x addresses, and they need ETH or BNB for gas. Telegram wallets and TON apps expect the native coin, which is this page's default.
Both formats point to the same TON account and differ only in a bounce flag. Most wallets now show the UQ form, which is non-bounceable, for receiving. Paste whatever your wallet or exchange shows on its receive screen and do not edit it.
