The pair still uses the TON ticker, and no account or email is involved. Telegram is the usual draw: wallet features inside the app use the coin, which makes a BTC to TON swap a practical way to pay or tip there from bitcoin savings.
The rename from Toncoin to Gram followed a community vote and took effect on June 15, 2026, while the network, balances and addresses stayed the same. Gram is the native proof-of-stake coin of TON, so moving from bitcoin is a cross-chain swap. TON addresses usually start with UQ or EQ. This coin supports a memo, which TON wallets call a comment: if your address belongs to an exchange that gave you one, enter it, or the deposit may not be credited.

The exchange still lists the coin under the TON ticker as Gram (ex Ton/TonCoin), so the pair keeps the BTC to TON name. Gram and Toncoin are the same coin on The Open Network, renamed after a community vote, and the payout is native Gram.
Paste the address your wallet shows on its receive screen, usually 48 characters beginning with UQ or EQ. Both forms point to the same account, and UQ is the non-bounceable form most wallets now display. An Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain address will not work, since this payout goes out on TON.
Your existing TON address works as before, because the rename did not change addresses or balances. Copy it from your wallet as usual. Just make sure it is a native TON address and not an Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain address that held a wrapped Toncoin token.
You can, as long as the wallet shows you a TON receive address. If it also displays a memo or comment for deposits, enter that in the memo field. Without it, a custodial service may not be able to match the payment to your account.
The TON reaches the exchange's address but may not be credited to your account, because the exchange cannot tell who it belongs to. Contact that exchange's support and give them the payout details, which you can find by searching their deposit address on a TON block explorer. Recovery is up to them and is not certain, so add the memo before you create the order.
