A TRON address starts with a capital T and is 34 characters long in base58 format. Copy it from your TRON wallet, such as TronLink, rather than typing it. The same address holds TRX and TRC-20 tokens like USDT.
TRC-20 transfers consume energy and bandwidth, two TRON network resources. If your account has no staked energy, the network burns TRX from your balance to pay for the transfer, and the transfer fails without enough TRX. Holding some TRX avoids that problem.
