It will not, because MetaMask uses the C-Chain and this payout goes to the X-Chain. If you want AVAX at a 0x address, choose Avalanche (C-Chain) as the receive coin instead. For the X-Chain payout, use a wallet such as Core that shows X-Chain addresses.
An X-Chain address begins with X-avax1, and the rest is lowercase letters and digits. A 0x address belongs to the C-Chain and is a different format. In Core and similar wallets, the X-Chain address is usually listed separately from the C-Chain one.
